Junior Honors
This page has the projects and descriptions of what I did as part of my junior year participation in honors college at IUI.
Archives in Archaeology
So far, I have done a lot of technical papers or projects for my honors contracts. I have found them intersting, but for this one in particular I wanted to do something fun just for me and my interests. Because this was a classical archaeology course, I chose to write a paper that allowed me to look at the connection between archival work and archaeology. Through this I was able to identify key areas that still need work, what is already being done, and ways to approach archaeological issues with an archival skillset in the future.
Nature of Destruction: Disaster Prepareness in the Digital Era
For this contract I worked with my professor for my Data Archives course to create my own LibGuide. This guide includes research and case studies meant to guide librarians and archivists when creating their own disaster preparedness plan in digital archiving. Below is the link to the guide as well as the document for the inital contract.
